Melissa Schmid

Melissa Schmid is McEwen Law Firm’s office manager and senior paralegal.  Melissa has 20 years of solid litigation and trial experience with several years of managerial and human resource experience.  She ensures the staff provides the highest level of customer service at all times, while managing her own clients and litigations.  Her background began on the defense side but she decided to make a change after 17 years and move over to the plaintiff’s side due to a driving need to assist people like herself, not large corporations.

In her free time, you can find Melissa spending time with her family and doing home improvement projects of any kind.

Amy Steinberg

Amy Steinberg is one of the firm’s top paralegals. She joined the team in October 2014 and brought with her 3 years of personal injury experience and a Paralegal Bachelors degree. Amy has very strong trial and litigation experience as well as customer service skills, the ability to problem solve efficiently and a solid understanding of the legal system.  The firm is very happy to have Amy on board.

When she is not at the office assisting clients, Amy enjoys her pets, watching Netflix, and crocheting.
