Facts: Mr. and Mrs. Simbroten, both Native Americans, received burns in a propane gas explosion in Minnesota. The case was brought against based on negligent failure to warn and the lack of a gas detector. The case was tried in Federal Court for two days, and then settled by way of mediation.
